In this video tutorial I am going to show how to work on a portrait using Alla prima technique. The entire process took me a little more than one hour. I will use oil paints, primed panel (8x8").

You can paint this portrait as long as you prefer though I would highly suggest you to work more on faster paintings to get more experience in color mixing and judging tonal values.

For this portrait I am using Van Gogh oil paints but you can use any brand you like. I wish you good luck with you painting!
